Down the Road

The program and project framework encourages effective collaboration across and within academic and technology teams as a new technology is applied.
Now that the Dashboard Analysis Program has concluded the technology will meet the broader needs of the University:

  • a recommended enterprise soluiton, business case, and delivery plan will be developed; the plan will include a recommended business model for ongoing creation and support of dashboard content and functions
  • if a vendor solution is recommended, an RFP will be submitted for an enterprise-wide dashboard tool and a business case will be submitted for implementation through the IT Priorities Committee
  • if the selected enterprise dashboard tool is the same as a proof-of-concept project tool, the license will be changed from a temporary to a permanent software license

The processes and procedures for addressing future dashboard needs will be an outcome of the overall Dashboard Analysis Program. Therefore, all dashboard enhancement requests, including requests related to the proof-of-concept dashboards, will be addressed after the recommendation of the Dashboard Analysis Program has been reviewed and decisions have been made for the program's future. During this period, Decision Support will provide support for the proof-of-concept dashboards and will address software failures and usability questions.
