Decision Support is committed to completing Data Warehouse processing as early as possible every day. However, various complicated issues — including hardware upgrades, network connectivity problems, and ETL (extract-transform-load processing) chain maintenance — occasionally delay the processing completion times past our target completion times (that vary for specific data sets).
We appreciate your patience while we aggressively work to identify and implement solutions for these issues. We are working to establish specific priorities and target completion times based on customer needs, as well as seeking ways to optimize and improve our processes. Please be diligent and check the Data Availability table below to verify processing completion times and ensure you receive all the data you anticipate.

Planned Events
BusinessObjects Update – Now Available
BusinessObjects XI Service Pack 5, Fix Pack 5.2 is now available via WebStore. We encourage all Desktop Intelligence users to apply the update as soon as possible. For more information, see the

Data Acquisition Schedules
Data Warehouse processing for the following data acquisitions may extend processing completion times on days when the additional data is scheduled to be created. We apologize for the inconvenience. Decision Support continuously strives to minimize the impact of the additional data loads to our user community. If you have any questions, please
contact us.
- Registration Census (as many as 9 points in a semester; see the Registration Census Dates for schedule)
- Application Census (Census and Final Grade points; see Application Census Dates for schedule)
- Payroll Reconciliation (generally 2-3 days after Payroll; see OBFS's Payroll & Earnings website page for the University Payroll Schedule)
Scheduled Nightly Downtime
The Data Warehouse is unavailable each night for approximately 10 minutes at approximately 11:30 p.m. Nightly system backups are taken during this time.
