Contact Decision Support
To report any problems using EDDIE, the BusinessObjects tool, a universe, or the Data Warehouse tables, please file a support ticket on-line at http://onlinesupport.uillinois.edu/ds.html. Authenticate via Bluestem, then click "Start Here", then "New Case". Be sure "Decision Support" is listed on the Help Desk line (first line of New Case entry form). If it is not, click "Change Help Desk" and select Decision Support from the list of options. You may also call 312-996-4806 (UIC) or 217-333-3102 (UIS or UIUC) or e-mail helpdesk2@uillinois.edu.

Training and One-On-One Help
Training Decision Support offers a variety of computer-based tutorials and instructor-led courses, including Custom Labs (hands-on sessions that focus on how to write a specific report), Business Objects overviews and advanced training sessions (e.g., Complex Queries).
Practice Lab Sessions Stop by a Data Warehouse Practice Lab to get help creating a report or working through a problem. Practice Labs give you an opportunity to get one-on-one help from experts in an open lab setting. No appointment is needed, you can stop by anytime during the practice lab.
General Reporting Resources
Query Clearinghouse Query Clearinghouse contains report templates, report logic, and SQL code that have been posted by other report developers and Decision Support staff.
Solution Library The Solution Library provides step-by-step instructions for many common reporting needs. Each reporting solution contains a sample report and detailed instructions on how to open, modify, and save the report.
Standard Report Directory The Standard Report Directory contains information about pre-developed, standard reports available in EDDIE or View Direct.
Product and Usage Information
Universe Guides The Universe Metadata contains detailed training and usage information for each Business Objects Universe.
Metadata The Metadata contains information about the data stored in the Data Warehouse (i.e., data definitions, data models, sourcing information).
System Status The System Status Page contains information on data availability, load times, planned event notices and alerts.
