Common EDDIE/Business Objects Error Messages

What You Should Do

What It Means

Your login has been disabled by your Supervisor

Link to DS Self-Service Password Management application to re-enable your account and set a new password (if needed). 

You have incorrectly entered your EDDIE password 5 times. Your account is disabled for security purposes.

Invalid Password (received after logging in and creating a custom report)

Link to DS Self-Service Password Management application to set and synchronize your EDDIE/Business Objects and Data Warehouse passwords. 

 

Your Oracle and EDDIE passwords do not match. Custom reports will not run unless these passwords match.

Connection or SQL Sentence Error

bolightsrv 109 Error

Contact DS via the on-line Help Desk to report the problem.

Indicates a variety of Oracle-Business Objects errors. Must be diagnosed on an individual basis.

Bad Caller Workflow

Close your browser windows and login again.

If error reoccurs, look for ways to reduce your query time (fewer wild cards, etc.) if possible.

Contact the AITS Help Desk if you continue to receive this error message while using EDDIE University Documents.

Your query or report has timed out. You may have a long running query, or your session may have timed out if you’ve been inactive.
